People Come First
The law needs to serve the people, and we ensure that our clients have the best possible representation. We strive to make sure we get the best possible outcome for our clients.
We’re honest and dedicated fighters for clients, and we’re here to listen to your needs. We’ll tell you exactly what we think, not what you want to hear, and we’re here available to listen to you.
Many law firms look to settle as their primary goal. We look to make our client whole as the primary goal. If that means going to trial, we’re ready to litigate. It’s in our name for a reason.
Alexander Gray Hait graduated from Georgia Tech in 1989 and went straight into Law School at New England School of Law, Boston, Massachusetts. Alex was admitted to the Georgia Bar in May of 1992 before he finished law school. In October of 1992, Alex was admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. Following graduation, Alex practiced law for a year in New Jersey and New York with Horowitz & Horowitz. His initial exposure to law was Personal Injury and General Civil Litigation. In 1993, Alex returned to Atlanta and worked with Clark & Washington, PC.
In 1997, Rogers & Cates PC approached Alex with an offer he could not refuse. They needed an attorney to run their personal injury department. Alex took the position, expanded the personal injury department by leaps and bounds and assisted Rogers & Cates in opening a new office in Woodstock, Georgia. Alex continued expanding his knowledge of personal injury, consumer bankruptcy and family law matters such as domestic violence, divorce, child custody and child support. In January of 2000, Alex hung out his own shingle. The Law Offices of Alexander Gray Hait started in the basement of his East Cobb home and it flourished immediately. Shortly thereafter, Alex opened an official office at 102 Springfield Center Drive in Woodstock, Georgia, but he and one paralegal outgrew the space quickly before moving to the current offices and ever-growing staff.
Elizabeth Jasmyne Kuhn began practicing law in 2005. Prior to joining the firm, she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from West Liberty State College in West Liberty, West Virginia. She moved from West Virginia to Connecticut where she taught middle school chorus in Stratford. After two years of teaching her award winning chamber choir, Lizz attended New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts.
After completing her Honors Judicial Internship in the Family and Probate Court of Massachusetts, Lizz graduated magna cum laude in the top 3% of her class and was decorated with several honors. She received the West’s Academic Excellence Award and was nominated by her peers as the most likely to succeed in the practice of law. While serving as the Business Managing Editor of the New England Law Review, she was most noted for her cutting edge symposium: From Stem Cell Research to Human Cloning: Where Do We Draw the Line?
After passing the Georgia Bar in 2005, Lizz joined Alex in the Woodstock office and became an equity partner in 2009. The firm continued to grow and in 2010 she assisted with the opening of the Alpharetta office at 11545 Parkwoods Cir., Suite C, Alpharetta.
Lizz is a member in good standing of the Georgia Bar, Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of Georgia and a member in good standing of the Federal District of Northern Georgia. Lizz is also a member of the Cobb County Bar, Blue Ridge Bar Association, Atlanta Bar Association, Family Division of the State Bar, and the Women’s Bar of Georgia.
